Feven Habtu works as Performance Marketing Lead at the Lendo AB office in Stockholm. She tells us what she appreciates the most about working at Lendo. Learn more about Feven in this short interview. 

Hi Feven! What is your role at Lendo and for how long have you worked in Lendo? Also, why did you choose to work at Lendo?

– I started at Lendo in May 2020, right at the beginning of the pandemic. As I have a background from the agency side, this was my first time joining a inhouse marketing team and several years into it I am very happy about that decision. 

My initial role was Performance Marketing Manager and I was involved in planning, executing and optimising our performance marketing channels. I mainly worked with SEM, affiliate marketing and paid social. In 2021 I stepped into my current role of Performance Marketing Lead and since then I also lead a team of brilliant performance marketing managers.

How would you describe your work as a Performance Marketing Lead?

– Besides leading a great team of people and managing some of the channels myself, I develop and implement strategies for performance marketing channels and ensure alignment with organisational objectives. Since marketing analysis is a vital part of our day to day work, I work closely with our data analytics and data & ml team to understand how we can further improve our tracking and reporting.

Tell us shortly about your team? 

– The team includes three performance marketing managers, each who manages a set of channels for different product areas. We plan, execute and optimise all performance marketing inhouse and work closely with our partner, product, and analytics teams to make sure we are always aligned and work towards the same objectives.

We are a group of different personalities and have various areas of interests – everything from martial arts, beer crafting, soccer and singing. Although our interests and background varies, it definitely brings us together and creates an amazing team dynamic.

What do you appreciate about working in Lendo?
– What stands out for me is the openness, team spirit and the culture of collaboration. I believe we are aligned with the company’s vision and goals, which facilitates good teamwork and makes my work fun. I also appreciate the cross team knowledge sharing, it has really helped me grow in my role.
